FROM BMD GROUP

As part of BMD’s 2023 Community Assistance Program, we will be showing support for eligible local community groups, projects and events by donating $100,000 to successful applicants.

Earlier this year, BMD launched its Community Assistance Program with the goal of strengthening Australian communities by providing funding to assist groups working in key areas such as sports and recreation, arts and culture, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, health and wellbeing, environment, education, and community development. BMD understands the important roles organisations like these have in their local communities and appreciates the effort it takes to raise the much-needed funding required to support their ongoing work.

Scott Power, BMD Group Director – Chief Executive Officer, said, “the long-standing relationships we have built within our communities is something we are incredibly proud of. This investment serves to maximise the opportunity for local input with flow-on effects in the legacies we leave in communities long after the project is delivered. Our commitment to supporting communities in which our projects operate is based on mutual respect and trust and sharing our joint commitment to diversity, reconciliation, family values and high performance”.

As a local in the Wynnum Manly community for over 40 years, BMD values the contribution of local community groups, and we are proud of our history in giving back to those that have similar values to BMD.
