If you’re a golf enthusiast who cares about your community, consider getting involved in Rotary’s upcoming charity golf event as a player or sponsor.

The Rotary Club of Cleveland is pleased to announce its 22nd Annual Charity Golf event, which will be held at Redland Bay Golf Club (RBGC) on November 3, 2023.

Cleveland Rotary is now in its 62nd year and has been involved in several key community projects during that time, including:

• Formation of the Redland Museum;

• Rotary Lodge, Redland Hospital Precinct, providing accommodation for families of trauma and emergency patients, particularly from the Southern Moreton Bay Islands;

• Lamb Ward – the club funded important medical equipment for premature and ill babies in the Bayside area at the Redland Hospital;

• Toowoomba and Lockyer Valley Flood appeals.

During the past 21 years, Cleveland Rotary has raised about $400,000 ($600,000 in today’s value) for deserving local causes such as Mater Hospital Auxiliary, Redland Foundation, the Rotary Foundation, and many other local charities. This year’s beneficiaries include Redland Community Centre and Special Olympics Australia – Redlands Club.

Rotary is the world’s most respected charitable organisation, established for over 100 years, with 1.4 million serving members in over 30,000 clubs around the globe. Local Rotary Clubs do great things for local communities.

Cleveland Rotary is now seeking key sponsors and players to help make the 22nd Annual Charity Golf fundraiser better than ever. To find out more, please contact Ian Neil at [email protected].
