Pack a picnic, bring a chair or a rug, and get ready to groove along to your favourite Christmas carols on Saturday December 18 at Manly’s George Clayton Park.

Brisbane Bayside Carols is a family-friendly event, with music provided by the talented musicians from the Queensland Services Heritage Band Association. The event will feature free pre-Christmas carols entertainment and activities, including jumping castles and face painting.

For those who don’t want to self-cater with a picnic, food trucks will be in the park to tempt concert goers with a variety of mouth-watering food options.

Paul Jones, from the Queensland Services Heritage Band Association, said the event will start at 4pm with a variety of pre-carols entertainment.

“Last year’s event was cancelled due to COVID restrictions, so it’s especially pleasing to be able to hold the event this year,” said Paul.

“It’s just a great community event for families to celebrate Christmas in such a great place on the bayside.”

Brisbane Bayside Carols is made possible thanks to sponsorship from Joan Pease MP for Lytton, Cr Peter Cumming for Wynnum Manly Ward, the Wynnum Manly Leagues Club and Australian Concert Productions.
