Bayside Multisport Triathlon Club has gone from strength to strength over the last two years, with some great results achieved by our local athletes.

This year has been an especially successful year for the club’s junior triathletes, with 13 members selected to represent Met-East at the All-Schools Triathlon in Hervey Bay and three adult members selected as Met East managers. Their dedication and training resulted in plenty of personal best performances and four athletes selected for the Queensland triathlon team. Congratulations to Zoe Billing, Chloe Bowen, Ethan Brelsford and Charlotte Kane on your selection.

In further exciting news for the club, Bayside Multisport has again been crowned Club Champions in its category, with 16 athletes placing in the top three of their age groups across the series.

The win is a testament to every athlete who competes in the events and earns valuable club points.

The club loves welcoming new members interested in learning more about the sport of triathlon, and caters to all ages and abilities, from first-timers looking for some fun and fitness to dedicated athletes who want to go harder and faster.

Now is a great time to check out the club, with its annual training camp in the early planning stages, allowing new members to spend a weekend learning the ropes, getting to know other club members and enjoying a weekend of immersion in triathlon training. There’s something for everyone with dedicated club coaches who lead swim, ride and run training.
