With Christmas fast approaching, the Rotary Club of Wynnum and Manly have already prepped and given their Santas a fresh coat of paint ready for installation on rooftops around town just in time for Christmas.

More than 100 Santa cut-outs will be placed in and around our community, ready for Christmas. We know that children and parents welcome these colourful reminders that Christmas is upon us.

“The Rotary Santas have been a tradition in and around Wynnum and Manly for more than 20 years and remain a major fundraising project for our Rotary club,” said joint presidents Tracey Wyatt and Rod Fletcher.

“Local businesses are generous in their support because they know that their contribution helps people and projects come together to support others in need.”

Santa tries hard not to disappoint anyone, and safety is a priority. Last year several local tradies (plumbers and electricians) came on board to safely assist Rotary’s volunteer members with placing the Santas on rooftops. We look forward to their fabulous support again this year!

The Rotary Club of Wynnum and Manly wishes everyone a happy and safe festive season.
