Community

After a busy last semester of learning and fun, Darling Point Special School students ended the year on a high with a visit from Miss Maggie of Manly, The Community Leader’s mascot, who presented copies of her book.

If you’re like Maggie and love trying new things and meeting new people, there’s plenty to keep you entertained close to home. Why not try something new this year?

As we prepare to tackle another exciting year at school, work, or even the pursuit of a life of leisure, your neighbourhood has everything and everyone you need to help you succeed and reach your goals.

With diverse employment options, a buzzy restaurant, café and bar scene, and a host of clubs with activities and sports for the very young and the never-too-old, there’s something to do every day of the week in the bayside. Venture out into your neighbourhood, and make some new connections.

Whether you’re kicking off a new business, starting a course of study, or easing into retirement, make the most of the year ahead, and take advantage of everything your suburb has to offer.
