Just one of the many encouraging and inspiring evenings held recently at the Rotary Club of Wynnum and Manly was the Citizenship Awards, presented to five talented students from five local schools. Members of the Rotary Club were pleased to share the evening with the students and their families, teachers and school representatives.

These Citizenship Awards are part of the Rotary Club of Wynnum and Manly Youth Program, supported by a grant from AMPOL that is used to encourage, support, and facilitate opportunities for the growth and development of the youth in our community.

“I am continually amazed by the calibre of young people we have in our community,” said joint president Tracey Wyatt.

“The future is in great hands with up-and-coming leaders of this calibre, and congratulations go to the recipients and to their teachers and schools for nominating them for these awards.”
