FROM THE BAYSIDE COMMUNITY FUND COMMITTEE
We would like to thank the community for their continued support of the Bayside Community Fund.
In February, we saw the team from The Dance and Theatre Factory continue their support of the fund by donating $450 from their recent performance of Frozen Jr. A big thank you goes out to Lyn, Tammy, and their dog Tuffy, (pictured above right) and to those that attended the performance.
We also saw Sash and Gable continue their support and partnership via The Community Leader’s Community Benefits initiative, which resulted in some great community feedback. In January, $200 was donated to Wynnum non-profit BABI, and in February, $100 was donated to the Bayside Community Legal Service.
We also saw Bayside Language School’s Amay Small, along with Federal MP Ross Vasta’s office, put on the first Fun-Fu Festival. The team raised funds for the community, with a portion of the event’s takings going to Darling Point Special School and the remaining 50% going the Bayside Community Fund.

The committee has been busy developing a new website that will feature a range of information and a calendar of events to be released soon.
