FROM U3A REDLANDS DISTRICT

During Seniors Month, U3A Redlands District brings you a program of special interest topics in its regular Life Matters presentations at the Donald Simpson Centre, Cleveland, on four consecutive Mondays commencing October 9.

Paul Oates, author, government administrator, primary producer, baby boomer and public affairs commentator, will facilitate the first three thought provoking current affairs presentations:

Monday October 9 – Australia as a Trading Partner explores issues of overseas trade, control, surplus and our potential future.

Monday October 16 – Australia’s Dwindling Water Supply examines droughts and floods and responsible management of the resource.

Monday October 23 – Australia’s Food Resources discusses how and where our food is produced now and into the future.

Shae Millar, Clinical nurse consultant, will discuss planning for important health care issues for seniors on the final Monday in this program:

Monday October 30 – My Care, My Choice provides practical steps to empower seniors to plan their future health care.
