FROM M DANCE

Students of local dance studio M Dance have proved there’s no shortage of dance talent in the bayside with outstanding performances at the recent Wynnum Manly Dance Eisteddfod.

“As a newly established dance school, it was the first time students had entered the competition. Out of five items entered, they gained four first places and one second place,” said M Dance principal Michele Thompson.

Michele said she was so proud of what the students had accomplished in such a short time, especially her adult Jazz class, which had only had 10 lessons before entering the competition.

“M Dance students are over the moon with their results and can’t wait to do it all again next year,” said Michele.

“Our studio offers classes in Tap, Jazz/Hip Hop, Ballet, Circus and Acrobatics for students aged three years and over. We’ve also recently been nominated for two ‘What’s on For Kids’ awards. There’s never been a better time to join us and dance where you belong.”
