Rotary has been around a while – 100 years in fact!

In 2021 along with many other clubs around the country, the Rotary Club of Wynnum and Manly celebrated 100 years of Rotary in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. Club members decided to mark the occasion in a lasting way and were delighted to be allocated a traffic signal box to paint on one of the busy street corners within the local community.

Local artist Natalie Lynch from Studio Yellow joined the project to help club members bring the traffic signal box to life with a celebratory message in colour and art.

Located on the corner of Manly and Wondall Roads, the freshly painted signal box now displays the Rotary club’s focus of community, diversity, integrity, leadership, fellowship, and service – all are great qualities to motivate us for the next 100 years.
