Lota, Queensland – get ready for a day of family fun and excitement as the Lota State School P&C Association prepares to host their highly anticipated school fete on October 14. With a plethora of activities, performances, and delicious treats in store, this event promises to be a highlight of the year for the entire community.

The school grounds will come alive with an array of activities to suit all ages. Thrill-seekers can test their climbing skills on the climbing wall or engage in some high-energy action with a round of laser tag. The little ones will be delighted with jumping castles and a petting zoo, while budding archaeologists can unearth prehistoric secrets in the dinosaur dig.

For those seeking treasures of a different kind, the treasure trove is the place to be. And don’t forget to explore the sideshow alley, where an assortment of show bags and classic carnival games await.

Throughout the day, the stage will be alive with a variety of performances, including bands, dance troupes, and even a karate demonstration. This fete truly has something for everyone, with local talents showcasing their skills.

Hungry? No problem! A wide selection of delicious food and beverages will be available, including BBQ, baked goods, and refreshing drinks.

On the same day, the school library will host the referendum, and attendees can exercise their civic duty while enjoying the fete’s activities. It’s a chance to make your voice heard and support the school at the same time.
