Moreton Bay provides a spectacular sailor’s playground right on the doorstep of Brisbane.

The Manly Combined Clubs Series was established by the Sailing Group of the Moreton Bay Trailer Boat Club (MBTBC) to unite the sailors of Manly Harbour and Moreton Bay with the aim of fielding a larger, more diverse fleet than might otherwise be possible by any club individually.

Our Purpose – To Unite The Love Of Boating And Make It Fun For Everyone.

In 2022 there were 47 boats entered in the Manly Combined Club series with over 300 people out sailing. The boats that entered included trailer sailers, cruising keelboats, race-oriented keelboats, sports boats and multi-hull, and they came from six clubs around Moreton Bay including RQYS, WMSC, NCYC, BIYC, TSCQ and MBTBC.

On Saturday 12 November the season finished with an ’80s themed prize giving.

Thank you to Moreton Bay Trailer Boat Club for hosting the series. The post-race prize-giving with sausage sizzle was a great time to grab a drink and catch up with everyone to tell stories and relive the day on the water.

In 2023 the first race is on February 26. Everyone is welcome to join us and come out for a sail. If you’d like to know more see manlycombinedclubs.com for details.
