Get ready to sing along to your favourite Christmas carols at the annual Bayside Carols concert on Saturday, December 17, at Manly’s George Clayton Park. Pack a picnic, bring a rug and a chair and join the festivities!

Bayside Carols is a family-friendly event, with music provided by talented musicians from the Queensland Services Heritage Band Association, along with other local performers.

Paul Jones, from the Queensland Services Heritage Band Association, said the event will start at 3.45pm with various pre-carols entertainment and attractions.

“Last year’s event was popular and joyful,” said Paul. “It’s a great community event for families to celebrate Christmas in a pleasant outdoor venue.”

For those who don’t want to self-cater with a picnic, food trucks will be in the park to tempt concertgoers with various delicious food options.

Bayside Carols is made possible thanks to community sponsorship. Paul says the band is always looking for new members, so whether you’re a beginner musician or an experienced player, contact Paul on 0418 740 919 for more information about how you can get involved.

The December 17 event will start at 3.45pm with a range of free activities, followed by the concert featuring traditional and contemporary Christmas songs at 7pm. For more information about Bayside Carols, visit www.facebook.com/BrisbaneBaysideCarols.
