Organisation profile: National Seniors Australia - The Community Leader and Real Estate New and Views

National Seniors Australia is a not-for-profit organisation, established in 1976, that exists to serve the needs of its members as they navigate retirement.

The organisation provides members with a range of benefits, from securing discounts on everyday shopping and once-in-a-lifetime holiday experiences, to selling tailored insurance products and pushing for policy changes at the highest levels of government.

Anyone can join – a process that takes just a few minutes online or by phone – and fees go back into the research and advocacy work the organisation does to improve accessible housing, pension poverty, health costs, aged care, and retirement income.

Members have access to exclusive discounts offered by major retailers such as Bunnings, Ampol, Target, Kmart, Big W, Woolworths, Coles, Harvey Norman, and Officeworks. Members also have access to speak to a Financial Information Consultant for independent information, plus tools and resources to guide them through an array of services, and government regulations. National Seniors Travel is also on hand to offer special pricing and exclusive itineraries across the globe for National Seniors members.

National Seniors helps members expand their social circle with a network of branches where members can get together in person, over morning tea or lunch. Some branches also organise excursions to places of interest and invite guest speakers to their meetings.
