Joining a performance team is a fantastic opportunity to further engage in dance training and gain extra experience on stage. In 2022 Bayside Dance will offer three different performance team opportunities, each designed to suit dancers with different needs and aspirations. They will be offering Mini Troupe (for dancers aged 4 to 6 years), Performance Troupes (for dancers aged 7 and above) and a brand new initiative – the Talent Development Program.
The Talent Development Program is designed for dancers seeking an exceptional dance experience, with additional coaching, multiple performance opportunities and a high calibre of technical tuition. Drawing from the latest academic research in talent development in dance, this program is designed for dancers who are seeking specialised training in order to propel them towards future full-time dance training and a professional dance career.
The package combines group classes in the dancer’s chosen specialty, private tuition with highly accomplished teachers, strength and conditioning classes, as well as team rehearsals.
The beauty of this part-time training package is that it allows for dancers to deepen their technical and artistic skills, while balancing their school work and other commitments.
Bayside Dance offers a range of dance classes and creative experiences in the Wynnum/Manly area. The school encourages a widespread love of dance, welcoming children and adults who can’t help but feel the rhythm!
