FROM HERE’S TO LIFE
Here’s to Life (H2L), a not-for-profit organisation with over 20 years of dedicated service, is seeking to expand its community programs and volunteer training initiatives with the help of grant funding. H2L has been a pillar of support for individuals aged 40 and over, as well as those living with disabilities, by offering enriching activities that promote physical, mental, and social wellbeing.
To continue meeting the needs of the community, H2L aims to enhance its volunteer training programs. These programs will provide vital skills in reception duties, customer service, book work, phone handling, and working with diverse individuals to ensure everyone feels welcome and valued. Additionally, training in first aid essentials, including the use of defibrillators, is a key focus to ensure safety and preparedness across all activities.
H2L also plans to invest in much-needed equipment to support its wide range of programs, including drumming, singing, dancing, Buff Bones (a gentle exercise program), and art and craft classes tailored for all, including disability programs. Funding is also required to maintain existing equipment and upgrade IT resources to keep up with the demands of modern technology. Furthermore, a new website is essential for improving communication and outreach within the community.
We invite the local community and businesses to join us in supporting these initiatives. H2L has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, meaning all donations are tax-deductible, allowing you to contribute with confidence and ease. Your contributions will enable H2L to provide a welcoming space where people can learn, connect, and thrive. By investing in H2L, you’re investing in a healthier, happier, and more inclusive community.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors, including Redland City Council, Bennetts Flooring, Swift Storage, just to name a few. H2L relies on the generous support of local businesses to continue offering our diverse range of programs.
