Come and learn to sew with Fauna from Faun Creations. Lessons are held weekly in the Wynnum Manly Arts Room, Level 1, Wynnum Community Centre, Florence Street, Wynnum.
Classes are for beginners and anyone who may have sewn in the past and would like to brush up on their skills. All you need is a basic sewing machine and a sewing kit. You can learn to make or alter your own or your family’s clothes.
Fauna has been sewing for most of her life, and on retirement from full-time work, started her own sewing business in 2008. Fauna’s business has been so successful that at times there was a waiting list. However, she has now given away the design side of her business to focus on teaching.
Fauna holds a Bachelor of Business, Cert IV Training & Assessment and Cert IV in Retail Fashion & Design.
