Redland District Committee on the Ageing (RDCOTA) is celebrating Seniors Month with a “Seniors Walk”, commencing at 7:00am on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from the RDCOTA office at 57 Wynyard Street, Cleveland.
Registrations are now available from the RDCOTA office for a cost of $5 between the hours of 9:30am and 2:30pm on weekdays. On the day, a warm-up session will be provided by Cr. Peter Mitchell. The 5km walk will have marshals guiding participants along the planned route. Toilets will be located midway and at the turn-around point.
Seniors are advised to walk at their own pace as far or as little as fitness levels allow, and to wear comfortable footwear. On return, there will be light refreshments. Yellow caps and t-shirts are available from the RDCOTA office for $5 each.
