FROM THE BAYSIDE COMMUNITY FUND
The Bayside Community Fund and the Bendigo Bank (Victoria Point and Wynnum Manly) recently joined forces to launch the inaugural Community Raffle. The raffle successfully raised $132,830, which was distributed to 64 local clubs and community organisations across Bayside and Redlands.
Building on this success, the Bayside Community Fund and the Bendigo Bank Community Bank branches of Victoria Point and Wynnum Manly will be running another Community Raffle starting in August. This initiative offers local organisations a valuable opportunity to raise funds with no upfront costs.
The prize pool is valued at $30,000 and includes:
- 1st Prize: $15,000
- 2nd Prize: $3,000
- 3rd Prize: $2,000
- Ten $1,000 prizes
Tickets will be sold at $5 each. Organisations and clubs participating in the raffle will keep 100% of the proceeds from each ticket sold – $5 per ticket – minus a small online sales fee.
