We invite you to attend our regular Community Hubs, designed to support you, your family, friends and neighbours in need, with access to a range of essential services.

The hubs connect people with service providers from many different cohorts in one location – it’s like a drop-in centre for services and essential items you may need.

We hold Redland Community Hubs across the Redlands and Russell/Macleay Islands twice a month. The first one we have is at the Comfort Hotel at Cleveland on the first Wednesday of each month from 9:00am to 1:00pm. The second is either on Russell Island or Macleay Island (we alternate between islands) on the second Wednesday of each month from 9:30am to 12:30pm at the Russell Island rec hall or the Macleay Island rec hall.

The service providers that attend the hubs generally include:

  • Housing
  • Homelessness
  • Mental Health
  • Health
  • Centrelink and Financial supports
  • Seniors’ supports
  • Disability supports
  • Men’s supports
  • Women’s supports
  • Employment and Job supports

We also have a lovely, warm, and welcoming morning tea and sometimes a delicious BBQ. We offer free clothes and groceries, but since we’re not a funded program, this is limited to one small bag per client.
