In every community, there are places where young people learn resilience, teamwork, and the value of giving back. For Cleveland, one such place is the Cleveland Scout Group. More than just uniforms and badges, this group is built on the spirit of adventure and service.

At Cleveland Scout Group, volunteers from all walks of life come together to mentor and guide the next generation. They show our young people how to lead, listen, and respect one another.

Whether it’s camping under the stars, learning new skills, or lending a hand in local service projects, Scouts here discover they are part of something bigger than themselves.

What makes this group truly special is its volunteers. Many balance busy work and family lives, yet still dedicate time to ensure every child feels supported and encouraged to grow.

“Scout leadership allows me the joy of exploring the outdoors alongside my beautiful children, creating memories and friendships that will last a lifetime,” says scout leader Danielle – known as ‘Tigger’.

Our newest leader, Lisa – known as ‘Dolphin’ – adds, “I became a scout leader so more children could enjoy Scouts and to spend time with my own children doing something we all enjoy.” Both leaders highlight the heart of Scouting: shared adventures, family, and friendships that strengthen our whole community.

The Cleveland Scout Group is not just shaping Scouts – it’s shaping citizens. Young people leave with confidence, responsibility, and lifelong connections. And in a time when strong community ties matter more than ever, that is something worth celebrating.

We invite you to join us at our Family Fun Day on Saturday, November 8, from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Cleveland Scout Den. With market stalls, a BBQ canteen, and plenty of activities for children, it’s set to be a day of fun, connection, and community spirit.
