Connect2Group provides a wide range of community support and employment services for people with disability. Connect2Group commenced its operations in Wynnum as Bayside GATE Employment Service in July 1993. In March 1996 the organisation incorporated, and Bayside GATE Employment Services Inc. was established, later becoming the well-known Connect2Group in February 2010.
Connect2Group provides an environment where people are treated with dignity, respect, and fairness; recognising each person is unique in their support and development needs.
Today Connect2Group operates across the south-east of Queensland in varying locations across Redlands, Bayside, Inala and Ipswich. Connect2Group has over 100 employees providing services across varying programs including employment services, supported independent living, community access and lifestyle options day programs.
The Community Services team provides supports for independent living and lifestyle options day programs to provide goals-based support to our participants, whilst the Employment Services team assists job seekers to gain and maintain meaningful employment across a range of industries from automotive to supermarkets like Aidan, [pictured] who was successful in gaining employment two years ago.
At the heart of its success is the team of dedicated and loyal employees, most of whom have worked to support those with a disability for over 15 years, the team make all things possible.
