Welcome to September! Spring has sprung, the days are getting longer, and our community is abuzz with exciting events and activities. What’s on your calendar this month?
The first Sunday in September is Father’s Day. It’s the perfect excuse to spoil the men in your life who lift you up, cheer you on, and make the world a little brighter. One of the greatest gifts you can give someone is recognition. Whether that person is your own father, a neighbour, a good mate, or someone in the community who’s a father figure, a simple gesture like a card or a phone call can let them know how much you appreciate them – that’s the real gift.
In this issue, we hear from Bruce, Harrison and Laurence. They represent three generations of a Redlands family – the youngest being nine – who’ve given us their take on Father’s Day and what it means to them. Check out their stories here.
