The lovely humans behind The Nurso are bringing their creativity and passion for horticulture to the Redlands.
There has been a nursery at 75 Duncan Road, Capalaba, for more than 30 years, and its newest iteration, The Stockyard, is infusing incredible energy into this loved gardening space.
Go for a lagoon walk
From the entrance of The Stockyard, you can meander along the picturesque lagoon walk. Follow the garden path, and you’ll find a range of Australian native plants, perennials, unique pots, and handpicked homewares.
The stroll takes you around the property and along the banks of The Stockyard’s lagoon – straight out of Monet’s Water Lilies (can you guess what inspired The Stockyard’s logo?). You’ll be forgiven for feeling inspired to start painting your own landscape right there!
Be sure to bring the kids – they’ll love saying “hi!” to The Stockyard lagoon’s resident ducks.
Enjoy barista-made coffee and tea
Once you’ve worked up a thirst, The Stockyard’s shady garden is the perfect place to enjoy a barista-made coffee or tea. On the weekends, there’s live music and scrumptious food trucks. Talented located carpenters are also building a custom kid’s play area amongst the shade of bamboo trees.
