The Redlands community is invited to dive into a morning of fun, fitness, and festivities at the Lively Seniors Celebration, held Thursday 9 October 2025 at the Cleveland Aquatic Centre. This free event honours the vibrant contributions of seniors across the region, with activities designed to bring all generations together.
Kicking off at 9:00am, the day begins with a high-energy Mega Aquaerobics class, followed by a playful bath cap competition sure to make a splash! From 9:00am to 11:00am, guests can visit the Cancer Council Redlands Branch stall for information and giveaways, while morning tea will be served at 10:00am to keep spirits high and stomachs happy.
Entertainment continues at 10:30am with a toe-tapping performance by the U3A Ukulele Band and a lively pétanque demonstration. Prizes will be up for grabs throughout the morning, adding a dash of excitement to the celebration.
Proudly supported by Redland City Council through the Redlands Coast Seniors Month Grant Program, the event highlights the importance of community connection, healthy living, and joyful ageing. Families, friends, and neighbours are all welcome to join in the festivities at 222 Russell Street, Cleveland.
