Manly West art school, Studio Yellow, has celebrated its 5th anniversary. Art teacher, Natalie Lynch, launched her business in December 2016. Since that day, Natalie has worked tirelessly to establish a creative space for adults ready to nurture their mental health by adding creativity into their lives.
After becoming a widow in 2009, when her husband succumbed to his depression, it became apparent to Natalie that more needed to be done to help people find joy and a real sense of purpose. As a qualified art teacher with almost 30 years of experience, she decided to use her expertise to focus on helping adults in need of support and guidance when embarking on an artistic hobby.
For anyone considering a new start in 2022, Studio Yellow offers therapeutic art programs and workshops for beginners (and those with some art confidence), teaching a wide variety of media.
“I want my studio to be a place that people look forward to returning to each time – a bright, fun space that also feels safe for clients to be open to the stories and experiences that unfold within the four walls,” said Natalie.
