Hands up if the aroma of popcorn and dagwood dogs, the dings and whistles of sideshow alley, and the thrill of fireworks triggers fond childhood memories.
Carnivals can induce a heady nostalgia that can transport even the grumpiest adults back to their happy childhood selves. It’s pure joy for the senses. RedFest brings all those memories back, and more, fusing fun-fair magic with a sensational lineup of live entertainment.
Local band Radioceans, fast becoming a crowd favourite on the live music circuit, is a must-see on the RedFest program. Fronted by Hannah Johnstone and the Luxton brothers, these guys are inspired by legendary artists like Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac and Powderfinger, and they know how to rock the stage!
Re-live the nostalgia and create new memories at this year’s RedFest – your homegrown celebration of food, entertainment and community. Check out pages 3 and 8 for RedFest details, and for more about Radioceans, go to radioceans.com.au.
