FROM THE CANCER COUNCIL QLD – REDLANDS BRANCH
In 2024, the incredible volunteers at the Cancer Council Queensland – Redlands Branch – truly outdid themselves, displaying remarkable dedication and raising an impressive $107,395!
This outstanding achievement was fuelled by our ever-popular craft and plant stalls, which continue to delight crowds at local shopping centres, markets, and fairs. But that’s just the beginning – we also raised funds through morning teas and lunches, cent auctions, raffles, festive Christmas events, trivia nights, the 2024 Redlands Chicks in Pink Fun Run, the FX-FJ Holden Nationals, generous donations from local schools and businesses, and our active participation in Cancer Council Queensland campaigns throughout the year.
We are proud to announce that our Redlands branch achieved the highest fundraising total among Queensland branches for the 2024 Do It For Cancer campaign – a true testament to the passion and dedication of everyone involved. Three cheers for our amazing volunteers, loyal supporters, and wonderful families – your energy and commitment drive our mission forward and make it all possible.
Most importantly, our greatest triumph is knowing that these efforts bring hope and support to those courageously facing cancer. Together, we are creating brighter days and inspiring change.
We welcome new volunteers, fresh ideas, and boundless enthusiasm to keep the momentum going. If you’re passionate about making a difference and supporting this vital cause, join us – together, we can achieve even greater things in the year ahead!
