FROM THE ROTARY CLUB OF WYNNUM AND MANLY
The Rotary Club of Wynnum and Manly is excited to announce the return of its popular Community Family Fun Day to be held in May.
The Wynnum Manly Rotary Club, with the support of local businesses and community organisations, will be hosting a Community Family Fun Day at Bandstand Park, Lower Esplanade, in Wynnum from 10 am to 2 pm on Sunday 22nd May 2022.
“We all felt the loss after the Australia Day BBQ celebrations were cancelled so our club is really excited to be able to host a Family Fun Day in May for everyone in our community,” explained Joint President Jo-Anne O’Connor.
“Our Rotary club is committed to strengthening family safety through continued education and support and believes that celebrating Family Fun Day with access to information and fun activities is an important first step in helping to keep our local community aware and safe.”
There will be free sausages, popcorn, fresh fruit and free activities for all ages including the ever popular baby animal farm, face painting, balloon twisting, tug of war, egg and spoon races, AFL footy handball, lob a choc, photo booth, kindergarten art activities and so much more.
Live music will feature throughout the event presented by a number of popular local bands and musicians.
This event would not be possible without the combined support of the Local, State and Federal Politicians, Police, Ambulance, Fire Brigade, St Johns Ambulance, local businesses, community organisations, and the local Rotary Club of Wynnum and Manly.
Save the date for 22nd May, from 10am to 2pm.
