Community musicians are rejoicing in Bayside Brass’s free instrument hire, made possible by over $41,000 in grant funding secured last year. The grant has provided a welcome boost to the band’s available instrument library.
Joining the new line-up are professional-level Yamaha Neo instruments, including two cornets, two tenor horns, an EEb tuba and a BBb tuba – all brand-new and ready to play.
If you’re a brass or percussion player who has recently graduated from high school and you’re looking to further your music practice with a fun, social group of players, Bayside Brass would love to hear from you.
Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evening from 7pm to 9pm at 161 Preston Rd, Manly West.
