Brisbane locals, lace up your sneakers, because Sofie Formica is inviting you to join her for a refreshing walk along the Wynnum Esplanade as part of her “100 Days of Walking” initiative.
Every Wednesday, Sofie has been hosting free community walks at a scenic spot around Brisbane, and Wynnum’s turn is coming up on November 12. The meeting point? The park at the end of the Jetty near Pandanus Beach – just look for the smiles and sneakers!
These walks are all about getting outside, moving your body, and connecting with others. No sign-ups, no cost, no pressure. Whether you’re a power walker or a casual stroller, everyone’s welcome.
Sofie has been walking daily for 30 minutes since September, sharing her journey live on her 4BC afternoon show (weekdays from noon to 3:00pm on 882AM). She’s even taking some of her interviews on the go, spotlighting local stories and the beauty of South East Queensland.
So if you’re looking for a midweek mood boost, grab a friend (or come solo!) and head to Wynnum Esplanade at 4:00pm on November 12. It’s a great way to enjoy the fresh air, meet Sofie, and be part of something simple but powerful.
