Last year, the Redlands Volunteer Branch of Cancer Council Queensland raised over $8,700 through two vibrant Daffodil Day stalls at Victoria Point Shopping Centre and Capalaba Park Shopping Centre. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the local community, funds raised supported vital cancer services including patient transport, wig and turban support, accommodation assistance, and life-saving research.

Following last year’s success, the branch is thrilled to announce that the 2025 Daffodil Day campaign is expanding to include two additional locations: Birkdale Fair and Alexandra Hills Shopping Centre, giving the branch more opportunities to connect with the community, raise vital funds, and spread awareness, on Thursday August 21 and Friday August 22.

In a fun show of unity, staff in shops inside all four participating centres are encouraged to dress in yellow to show their support for Daffodil Day and help brighten the shopping centres with hope and colour.

With more locations, more volunteers, and growing community involvement, the Redlands Volunteer Branch is aiming to make this year’s Daffodil Day campaign the biggest and most impactful yet – all to ensure no Queenslander faces cancer alone.
