The Nurso is excited to welcome you back to 1666 Old Cleveland Road, Chandler, where you’ll find plants, gardening accessories, art, gifts and delicious food.
“If you’re a local, you’ve probably known this site under its previous names and that it’s always been four hectares of paradise, nestled between the city and the bay,” said new owner Marni Robertshaw.
Marni says The Nurso is arguably Brisbane’s most extensive retail nursery, with plants and pots galore, including a vast range of indoor plants, acres of outdoor space for sun-lovers to explore, a fernery, cacti room, and potted colour to suit your country-style garden.
Weekends and holidays at The Nurso are atmospheric, powered by live music. Soak up the ambience at the cafe, treat your tastebuds to Asian-inspired meals, browse giftware and meet the animals – you could spend all day here!
The Nurso also hosts a large, dynamic street-art gallery featuring some of Australia’s best street artists.
During spring and summer, The Nurso opens from 7am on school days to offer a free kids’ continental breakfast, and the coffee machine will also be fired up. The kitchen opens at 8am for Asian-inspired brunch and lunch items, and the last meals are served at 2:30pm.
“Our horticulture team is always happy to chat and help you find the plants you need, and if there’s anything you can’t find here (although rare!), let us know, and we’ll look into it for you,” said Marni.
