If Moreton Bay is the heart of our beautiful region, our creeks and rivers keep the heart pumping.
Bayside Creeks Catchment Group is a group of dedicated people who help to protect our local habitat. We are involved in regenerating bushland by planting trees, removing weeds and propagating native species. We hold community events, clean up rubbish and monitor wildlife, and we even have an environmental book club.
Members get enormous satisfaction from checking the progress of a tree they planted years earlier.
We are now looking for new members to be involved on the committee or on the ground. We also have a vacancy for a secretary.
