The Wynnum Commonwealth Bank branch recently celebrated its 90th birthday! The event was a wonderful success, bringing together a vibrant mix of past and present staff, support teams, and loyal customers. It was heart-warming to see so many familiar faces reconnecting and reminiscing about the branch’s long-standing presence in the community.
One of the most touching moments was when two of our cherished customers, who also celebrated their 90th birthdays this year, joined us to cut the birthday cake. Their stories and connection to the branch added a beautiful layer of meaning to the celebration.
We were also honoured to welcome Federal MP Kara Cook, whose presence underscored the importance of community and continuity. Her support was deeply appreciated by everyone in attendance.
The branch was decorated with balloons, historical photos, and memorabilia showcasing our journey through the decades. Guests enjoyed light refreshments, shared memories, and celebrated the enduring relationships that have defined our branch’s legacy.
