FROM THE BAYSIDE COMMUNITY FUND VOLUNTEERS
Planning is underway for the 2026 Bayside Community Awards, with several new categories added to recognise even more outstanding people and organisations who contribute to the bayside community. Nominations will open on August 29 and close on September 18.
If you know a business, community group, or local organisation that deserves recognition for the positive impact it makes, we encourage you to take part in the nomination process. Your involvement helps shine a light on those who consistently support and strengthen our community. You will be able to vote for the nominees from September 26 until October 23.
Once community voting is complete, we invite you to join us at the Awards Night, which is a fantastic opportunity to meet other locals and celebrate this year’s finalists and winners. The 2026 Bayside Community Awards will be held on 11 November 2026 at the Bayside Event Centre in Wynnum.
The Bayside Community Awards is driven by financial support from local businesses and chambers, and by the volunteer members of the Bayside Community Fund who give their time to make it happen. Their contributions ensure we can continue celebrating the people who make our local area a fantastic place to live and work.
