Since forever, people have found reasons to come together to celebrate the seasons, share good food, dance, laugh, sing, and enjoy each other’s company. That’s what the Bayside Spring Festival is all about: giving locals and visitors a relaxed celebration of everything great in the local area.
Over three days from September 11 to 13, you’ll spot some fairground classics in George Clayton Park at Manly, like the Ferris wheel turning above the crowd – what a view over the bay! Local media personality Ranger Stacey will MC a packed program of events on Saturday, and there will be showbags, fairy floss, art displays, markets, and all the fun of sideshow alley. Kids from local dance schools will take the stage to show off their moves. Local musos will play original tracks. It’s all the fun of the fair, with a distinctly Wynnum-Manly flavour, and we can’t wait!
