The Bayside Community Fund is thrilled to announce the launch of the fourth annual Bayside Business and Community Awards. The Awards have become very popular and offer a great opportunity for ‘baysiders’ to nominate their favourite businesses, not-for-profit organisations, and individuals, for recognition of the contributions they are making to our bayside community. The nomination period runs from 29 August 2026 to 18 September 2026.
To nominate a deserving business, not-for-profit organisation or individual, go to the Bayside Community Fund website at www.baysidecommunityfund.org.au to complete your nomination. You can make more than one nomination and the terms and conditions of participation can be viewed on the website.

- Best Small Business Newcomer
- Best Retail Business
- Best Beauty and Health Business
- Best Fitness and Wellbeing Business
- Best Hospitality Business – Small
- Best Hospitality Business – Medium/Large
- Best Trade/Industrial Business
- Best Professional Services Business
- Best Real Estate Agency Business
- Best Not-For-Profit Social or Sporting Club
- Outstanding Customer Service Award
- Outstanding Apprentice of the Year
- Bayside Educator of the Year
- Outstanding Community Service Organisation
- Outstanding Community Service Award – Individual
The voting period will commence on 26 September 2026 with nominees to be published in the October edition of The Community Leader. Voting will conclude at 5:00pm on 23 October 2026.
Award winners will be announced at a gala event to be held on Wednesday 11 November 2026 commencing at 6.30pm at the Bayside Event Centre, Edith Street, Wynnum.
