Crime Stoppers Queensland joined communities across the country to support Crime Stoppers Day 2026, helping raise awareness of anonymous reporting and the important role the public plays in preventing and solving crime.
This year’s national campaign, Your Next Move?, focused on encouraging younger Australians aged 18 to 39 to think about the choices they make when confronted with crime or suspicious behaviour and to understand the value of speaking up anonymously.
To mark the day, Crime Stoppers Queensland CEO David Hansen visited the Queensland Police Service’s Policelink and Crime Stoppers Unit to thank staff for their ongoing commitment to community safety and recognise the strong partnership that helps ensure information from the community reaches the right authorities.
Crime Stoppers Queensland also supported the campaign through targeted social media, digital advertising and stakeholder engagement activities, helping spread the message across Queensland.
